Guidelines for Buying Toner Cartridge for HP LaserJet 1012

One of the great additions to a small office is a HP LaserJet 1012. This equipment is capable of producing 15 pages per minute in black and white. Additionally, it utilizes the Q2612A toner cartridge, which yields about 2,000 pages in between replacements.

However, like most things in this world, the HP LaserJet 1012 is still subject under the Murphy's Law. Users will be lulled to believe that printing will run smoothly at all times. But eventually, users will face problems that usually happen at unfortunate instances. A good example would be running out of toner supply. Looking for a replacement can be cumbersome. Here are some tips that will make tasks easier and avoid this catastrophic scenario from happening again.

Tip#1: Buy in bulk. It is always best to buy in bulk or multipacks. This shopping tip will allow users to save at least 20% on supply expenses. Not to mention, this removes the need to go back and forth to the store whenever the toner supply is depleted. Moreover, it is much more eco-friendly since little packaging is use.

Tip#2: Buy high-yield toner. There is very little difference between the price of standard yield and high yieldtoner cartridges. However, there is huge difference with the number of printouts that can be produced. Go for the higher yield.  Opting for this choice will prolong the gap between replacements.
Tip#3: Use the internet. Use the web to find the nearestprinter supply store. This will save time spent in searching for stores that will provide the toner replacement. When in a rush, this should be the first thing that should be done.
Tip#4: Store everything properly. There is no use in buying multipacks if you do not know how to properly store the products. A toner cartridge has 18 to 24 months shelf life - a quality that makes a toner cartridgeeven more handy. Keep these in a dark, cool and dry place. Do not open the pack unless needed as replacement.

HP LaserJet 1012 is a great home office printer. However, it could also be troublesome if you run out of toner without any replacement at hand. So keep these tips in mind the next time you look for a Q2612A toner cartridge. Another money-saving option you could try is using toner refill kits. Just in case you do not know, your toner cartridge is refillable up to 4 times. That should be enough reason for you to find better solution to make your toner last longer without spending too much money.

How to Preserve and Shelve Books Properly

Books are important tools for education. However, after being read, these are usually put away and mostly ignored. Thus, they should be well- kept and maintained in good condition to last for ages. Few people are familiar with tricks about shelving and preserving volumes to the point of making these priceless. If you consider yourself a bookworm, then you must have volumes of paperback to accompany you. And if you are to store them away, note that special care and supplies are needed.
Preserving Books
  1. Remove all dusts and smudges using a soft and clean cloth. If it has a hard glossy cover, damp the cloth a little and gently wipe. Make sure not to dampen any of the pages. If it has a stubborn price tag stuck on the cover, use a lighter fluid. Soak it for 20 seconds and gently peel off.

  2. Dusts easily accumulate even inside the boxes. Cover the volume with plastic bags and seal it using packaging tapes. This will prevent moisture out and keep it dry even when dumped in a moistened area. For paperbacks, using large envelopes will suffice.

  3. Put the books inside alkaline-buffered and acid- free boxes. You can lay them upright or flat whichever you prefer, just as long as they are fitted snugly inside. Store it in a cool area. If you have leather-bound items, keep them away from places with high humidity. It will dry out the cover which results in cracks and tears.
Shelving Books
  1. When shelving, the ideal position is an upright position. A book that leans on a board weakens its structure. The same goes for those rested on their fore edges. If you do this, the block will eventually sag and will detach from its binding and cover.

  2. It should be placed snugly but not tightly next to each other. Tight placing will lead to tugs during retrieval which can cause damage over the end caps and binding.

  3. When removing, fill the space by moving a little loosely. And when you need to return it, do not force it when the space is too tight. Rearrange the placement to make room. Do not leave it resting horizontally on top of the others on the shelf.
Whether you are preserving volumes in boxes or shelving in the library, use a book truck whenever you need to transports loads and volumes of them to your desired destination.

street style in paris is fascinating to me year round. french women really do no wrong and it’s so effortless. when it comes to summer style, everything is light, flowy and feminine – which of course always can be punched up with a hardline or masculine jacket or accessories.
just can’t get enough of these women – can i have all of their closets?
{ pair a sheer shirt with blush shorts and girly pumps }
{ flowing layers with fruit or floral prints mixed with a moto cut jacket ups the ante on ultra feminine dresses }
{ opt for a white dress with texture that shows your legs – pair again with a moto jacket to take down the girlyness a little }
{ go monochrome in a punchy and bright color }
{ a midi skirt in a light fabric is great for warm days and hot nights – a white t and long necklaces makes it ultra sexy for casual days }

Advantages and Disadvantages of Business Travel

By

There are many reasons why a person travels. But usually, it comes down to either pleasure or business. Business travel offers many advantages and disadvantages.
But whether go see someone face-to-face or be content with an interactive presentation in real time for a business meeting all depends on a person's lifestyle. Besides, both kind of meetings have its pros and cons.
Advantages:
  • Enjoyment - Many people love to travel and given enough time and resources, they would travel more. Enjoyment and the experience of being in another place are enough.

  • Keeping up with the Joneses - Behind the serious motive and purpose of business travel is the need to upgrade and keep up with the latest trends. And sometimes, by vacationing at a tourist spot can achieve just that.

  • Update information - Business meetings wherever it may be conducted also implies the exchange of information and business trends. When surrounded by contemporaries and colleagues, a businessperson can assess other possible ventures.

  • Achieving goals - Business is business. And as the saying goes, there is always a purpose for everything. And the fundamental purpose of a business meeting is either to impress a client or close a deal. These are goals that will prosper the company once achieved.
Disadvantages:
  • Costly - Roundtrip tickets, hotel accommodation, meals and reservations; these are the common expenditures of executives out on a business trip. While these expenses do not come cheap, business travel also lasts for a couple of days.

  • Unproductive time - Instead of interacting with colleagues, supervising his staff or taking a day off, a businessperson is instead either driving a few miles to meet a client or on board a plane.

  • Delayed schedule - To see each other at a common and agreeable time is one reason why people are forced to set off and meet somebody in person (wherever they are). And that costs precious time. One has to reconcile his schedule or go off his way just to be on time in the meeting.

  • Stressful -Most people who go on business trips find themselves bored and wanting to be somewhere else instead. No wonder these people prefer interactive presentations because they can be comfortable in their own space.

  • Increased workload - Any worker knows that time off from the office desk even for a day or two would leave them with piles and stacks of paperwork to return to. A business trip also means a lot of work to catch up on upon your return.
Business and travel has a long-standing relationship and it all goes down to the person's preference. The meeting can be conducted face to face or perhaps teleconferencing would be more convenient and practical while relieving one of the stress of long travel.
Thanks to technology, anyone can now conduct meetings without having to leave the workplace. Through a dependable office product interactive presentation using powerful and convenient receiver kits, one can now conduct business meetings wherever they may be around the globe. Now, businessmen will no longer have to don business suits or book air travel in order to hold a meeting.

Simple Preschool Crafts

I have two little ones that just love crafts.  Many times I try to make include other learning with the craft.  Then there are sometimes that I just need them to be happily busy, so that I can get some things done.  This month we two simple preschool crafts.

For these we used the following supplies:
Glue Sticks
Tissue Paper
Paper Plate
Bath Tissue Roll
Cotton Balls
Construction Paper

Our first preschool craft is a paper plate snail.  This was going to be an activity that focused on keeping things inside of the lines and one that focused on colors and patterns for little miss.  It just so happened that this was the only craft that I had ready in the preschool bags and I needed them to stay quiet and happily busy for about 30 minutes.

I brought out the craft, explained it to Little Miss and let her have at it.  I helped Little Mister the whole time with his.  {Working at home Daddy had a conference call that he had to be able to listen too.}

Because I was right there working on it with them I am sure that they worked on it longer and they were quieter as well.  The craft was intended to glue tissue paper around the circles in patterns keeping all the pieces in the circle.  We didn’t have the time to prepare all of that so I just let them glue the tissue paper on the plate as they wished.  When they were finished I cut the bath tissue roll and slide it onto the plate.  I taped it in place.

The other simple craft this month was a caterpillar on a leaf.

In the preschool bag I had already cut out 2 large leaves and two piece of blue paper to glue the leaf onto.  Then I gave them 10 cotton balls each (which were also already in the bag).  I helped them glue the leaves onto the paper and showed Little Miss how to put glue in the middle of the leaf.  We pressed the cotton balls along the glue creating a caterpillar.

Little Miss said her caterpillar needed legs and drew them on.  This craft did not take them long at all!

I love the final products. - See more at: http://touchofhomelearning.blogspot.com/2013/05/simple-preschool-crafts.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+TouchOfHomeLearning+%28Touch+of+Home+Learning%29#sthash.v0OTLr1t.dpuf
